The residency programme operates on an open call basis so please send us your application throughout the year.

The applications are reviewed by a jury, consisting of the School Directors and an independent international panel of artists.
The final decision will be made by the Cyprus Acadamy of Arts.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES
The application must be sent by e-mail in .PDF format to info@caa.ac.cy
PART 1: PAPERWORK
Application paperwork should include in the following order:
A. CV/RESUME: Please include your educational background and exhibition history.
B. ARTIST STATEMENT: In 250 words or less, write a statement about your work.
C. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: In 250 words or less, describe your potential projects, ideas and expectations for the residency.
D. REFERENCES: Please provide the name, email, telephone no. and postal address of two references who can comment on your recent work and artistic development on a professional level.
E. IMAGE SCRIPT: The titles on the image script should correspond to those marked in the titles of the digital image files. Include the title, date, medium, dimensions, and a brief description of each work (less than 50 words for each image/video).
PART 2: VISUAL DOCUMENTATION
We ask that you send a selection of up to 10 images included in your electronic application, and/or videos.
The image files should be sent via email with the ‘Application Paperwork’ or be included in the IMAGE SCRIPT as a download link that does not expire, provided by file-hosting services such as Dropbox, Vimeo, or YouTube.
MAXIMUM 10 IMAGES: Each image file must be titled with your Last Name, underscore, First Name, image number (e.g. Smith_John01)
Accepted file type: separate JPG-files only
Maximum size: A4 or 1000 px
Image resolution: 72 DPI
VIDEO FILES: Moving images, i.e. time-based media, video, kinetic art, or documentation of performance art, should be included in the IMAGE SCRIPT accompanying your application as a download link that does not expire, either provided by file-hosting services such as Dropbox or WeTransfer, or video-sharing websites such as YouTube or Vimeo. One video counts as one image, the duration does not matter. Video files of still artwork or documentation of the artistic process will NOT be viewed.
